Football Tips | These are techniques I honed throughout my time as a player. I was able to achieve my goals as a player with the support of these methods, and I believe they may do the same for other people.
Repeated daily running
A daily three-mile run is an excellent cardiovascular exercise that can help you stay in top shape. If you can, try to do most of your running uphill. Find a steep hill at around 2 miles, run up it for 20-30 meters, and then turn around and walk down. It’s recommended that you do this anywhere from 5-10 times before you complete your run. Doing this regularly will make you stronger and fitter, allowing you to play at a high level for a longer period of time.
To improve your speed, you need do several workouts
Look for a ledge with a drop of around 150 centimeters, or a barrel or other stable item of a comparable height. As soon as you can, jump off, land in a crouching stance with both feet, and stand up tall. Before beginning this workout, make sure you have properly warmed up and stretched. The workout will help to develop faster-reacting muscles in the legs.
Practice using both feet at once
Most players have a distinct advantage with one foot over the other, and it may be challenging to develop a more balanced touch by focusing on the stronger foot. Working on your less dominant foot will provide immediate results since you will strengthen it more. Use your less dominant foot to kick a ball against a wall. Practice with a scratch game when everyone uses their less dominant foot. You won’t have to put in much time or energy, and you’ll see progress quickly.
Acquire a new skill
If you witness a new trick being performed by an expert, be sure to observe it many times before you try it yourself. Videos posted online are useful for this purpose. Put in a minimum of ten minutes every day until you have mastered the skill. If you aren’t 100% certain in your ability to pull it off every time, then wait to employ it in a game.
Follow the lead of the experts
Learn the sport by emulating the pros. Even while it may seem apparent, you’d be surprised at how few players really do this. The best way to improve your own game is to choose a player who plays a similar position to you and study him intently, both when he has the ball and when he doesn’t. You should choose a player that represents a personal ideal. Franck Sauzee, a former France, Marseilles, and Hibernian midfielder, was a player I looked up to and learned a lot from. An all-star performer who never dropped his level of play.
Last but not least, don’t give up if you don’t instantly become Maradona. In order to become a master player, you must devote time and effort to constantly fine-tuning every aspect of your performance. The most important things to keep in mind are maintaining a regular schedule and engaging in appropriate training.
