MCA Membership
Access
to the Birch Ski Area mountain biking trails is provided by the
Manitoba Cycling Association (MCA). Cyclist interested in riding the
trails at Birch Ski Area must have on hand a MCA Membership (at minimum
a
General
Membership) and a
Birch
Trail Pass. By having both annual passes a MCA
member has unlimited access to the bike trials.
How to register online for a MCA Membership and Birch Tail Pass:
- Go to MCA website at www.mbcycling.ca
- From
the MCA home page follow the General
Membership link
situated in the left hand menu. This will bring you to the Join the MCA page.
Follow the Go here
link near the bottom of the page. This will bring you to the Karelo
registration page.
- Under the 2010 Membership Application
section click on the Sign
Up Now button. If you have a Karelo account
you'll be able to sign in; otherwise, you will have to register for a
free account.
- Once logged in you'll be sent to an online
registration form requesting information relating to the type of MCA
membership you are requesting.
- Make certain to select at
minimum a General
Membership in the Membership
Type tab and check the
Birch Trail Pass
box further down the form. For the 2010 season a
General MCA Membership costs $35.00 and a Birch Trail Pass cost $25.00.
- The
MCA will send you an official pass in the mail; but this will take some
time before you receive it. We recommend that once you've registered
online that you print a copy of the invoice and use that as proof that
you did purchase a MCA membership and a Birch Trail Pass when you go
cycling at Birch Ski Area.
